Data connectivity.
MicroStrategy provides an extensive library of native gateways and drivers to connect to any enterprise resource. These include RDBMS, multidimensional cubes, Hadoop or cloud-based systems. Non-traditional data sources such as text files can also be integrated via ODBC connectors and free-form SQL options. The SDK enables integration with R Advanced Analytics, Python, JavaScript, D3 and GIS providers, support for AirWatch or GoodDynamics and the creation of customised connectors.
Data visualization.
Thanks to intuitive, powerful solutions and functions, you can prepare and visualize your data. You can then share the data with Dossier for users throughout your organization. This is supported by integrated wrangling and parsing functions. The user interface is drag-and-drop based and includes an extensive library of visualizations, which can be supplemented by third-party visualizations such as D3. Divided into chapters and pages, dossiers provide powerful analysis for any user.
Machine Learning.
Using MicroStrategy and common statistical programming languages, data scientists can access reliable data to create complex models that benefit the entire enterprise. Mobility Management.
MicroStrategy offers native SDK integration with three major EMM vendors: MobileIron, Good, and AirWatch. MicroStrategy Mobile also supports EMM capabilities by following the guidelines set by the AppConfig community. This native integration allows EMM vendors to manage various aspects of employee mobility, including devices, applications, and services - such as updates, access settings, device restrictions, password controls, and more.
Collaboration.
Using user preferences and security roles, a single report can be distributed across the enterprise and each user can see only what they want and are allowed to see. On the other hand, users can share their views with others through dossiers and collaboration. These can also be supplemented by notifications and, together with the built-in alert function (in-app, browser, mobile), collaboration is easier than ever.
Transactions.
A write-back function makes the evaluation system interactive, data and images can be transferred and updated in ERP and CRM systems as well as operational databases. Thus new business processes can be initiated, appointments can be made or finances can be controlled, both online and offline.
Embedded analysis.
With embedded analytics from MicroStrategy, Intelligent Enterprises enables customized and powerful Web and mobile reporting applications to suit your brand. Complex analytical functionality can be easily embedded into existing applications, integrated into a custom product offering, or extended to MicroStrategy with third-party functionality. As a result, you get data in your familiar environment, but controlled by governance through MicroStrategy.
Digital access data.
MicroStrategy's Badge app provides a solution that synchronizes MicroStrategy credentials with physical access control systems (PACS), logical systems, and user directories. This makes it possible to combine a variety of access controls (such as key cards, passwords, or tokens). The digital access data uses GPS, Bluetooth and biometric functions for identification and is based on assigned user rights.
Identity Analytics.
Companies have a wide range of resources, from hardware and IT infrastructure to company vehicles, staff and office space. How these resources are used is relevant to the way a company operates. With Usher, companies can generate and analyse data on every aspect of their business to gain a better understanding of how and when their resources are used.
HyperIntelligence.
So-called hypercards enable the embedding of expert knowledge in the application of users. On the cards, decisive KPI's are displayed where they are relevant. In this way, customer information can be displayed in Excel or company information can be displayed on the Web with data directly from the MicroStrategy database. This cross-platform technology produces maps that look the same on all interfaces, but respond individually to each environment.
